Seems like a missed opportunity for the parents of students going to the new St-Thomas location to visit the school.

When will the school Board be releasing the new transportation zones? We are walking distance to st Thomas but won’t be when it is relocated? How will I know if I will get free busing for my child entering high school? It would be nice to know if busing is an option for the next 5 years!

Where will the presentation and tour be done ? At the Lindsay place campus or st-Thomas campus

The students going to Lindsey Place next year should still be able to tour the school. Why has it been cancelled?

Our students give back to our communities!
Esthetics’ students from Beauty Academy GRBA spent yesterday afternoon giving manicures to the West Island MS (Multiple Sclerosis) group.
"MS is currently classified as an autoimmune disease of the central nervous system (brain, spinal cord). The disease attacks myelin, the protective covering of the nerves, causing inflammation and often damaging the myelin. Myelin is necessary for the transmission of nerve impulses through nerve fibres. If damage to myelin is slight, nerve impulses travel with minor interruptions; however, if damage is substantial and if scar tissue replaces the myelin, nerve impulses may be completely disrupted, and the nerve fibres themselves can be damaged.

MS is unpredictable and can cause symptoms such as extreme fatigue, lack of coordination, weakness, tingling, impaired sensation, vision problems, bladder problems, cognitive impairment and mood changes. Its effects can be physical, emotional and financial."

Students in the Automobile Mechanics program watch a live stream of a demonstration from the garage directly to their classroom. Using the "Hangouts Meet" app from Google for Education Suite gives our students access to the latest in technology and pedagogy.

Congratulations to Auto Mechanic teachers Jeff and Nathan for keeping students engaged in their learning by using state-of-the-art technlogy and tools.

We’d like to thank Catherine from Ricochet Hébergement/Homes for stopping by with the cutest donor appreciation gift! 🎁

Ricochet’s mission is to raise funds for and develop an emergency shelter for young adults experiencing homelessness in the West Island. WICC students and staff raised $1000 at a bake sale for the project and we couldn’t be more proud of all of you. 🏠💕
