Giovanna Salvagio

Giovanna was a teacher with the English Montreal School Board and a content specialist in Early Childhood Education (RAC program) at Champlain Regional College before joining the RECIT AGE service in 2019 as regional pedagogical consultant.

In 2022 she accepted a mandate to support the First Nations and Inuit communities. While the experience was rich and instrumental she returns to the anglophone adult general education community with a new mandate with the RECIT National Service.  She connects the Adult General Education community with the larger RÉCIT network, including RÉCIT FGA and the MEQ. She is passionate about technology driven education as it is a means towards equity and inclusion. 

Giovanna holds a bachelor’s degree in education with a specialization in T.E.S.L (teaching English as a second language) from Concordia University, as well as other business and coaching certificates.
