The Provincial Organization of Continuing Education Directors, English (PROCEDE) is a subcommittee of the Association of Directors General of English School Boards. It was established in 1976 to support the development and delivery of English-language adult education and vocational training in Quebec and includes directors, assistant directors and coordinators of adult education and vocational training in Quebec. PROCEDE has representation from Quebec’s nine English-language school boards and from the Cree, Kativik and Littoral school boards.

Our mandate:

Act as a forum and consultative body for Quebec’s nine English-language school boards.
Provide policy orientation and strategy recommendations to the Minister of Education and our boards.
Oversee the development and delivery of adult general education and vocational training curricula and programming.
Coordinate professional development for all personnel.

The 9è Journée pédagogique nationale en formation professionnelle is a virtual event that brings together the professional training community in Quebec. The day is organized by the Conseil pédagogique interdisciplinaire du Québec (CPIQ) in collaboration with many Associations. A member of the Quebec Advisory Council on Vocational Training (QACVE), a subcommittee of PROCEDE, represents the English-speaking sector.

Breast Cancer Fundraiser

On Sunday, August 24, students and staff from the Gordon Robertson Beauty Academy came together at the Pointe-Claire Canoe Club for an inspiring dragon boat race. For months, they dedicated their time and energy to raising funds for the West Island Dragons—a team that paddles not only for sport, but as a joyful celebration of life and a powerful reminder that healthy, active living is possible after breast cancer.
