The Provincial Organization of Continuing Education Directors, English (PROCEDE) is a subcommittee of the Association of Directors General of English School Boards. It was established in 1976 to support the development and delivery of English-language adult education and vocational training in Quebec and includes directors, assistant directors and coordinators of adult education and vocational training in Quebec. PROCEDE has representation from Quebec’s nine English-language school boards and from the Cree, Kativik and Littoral school boards.
Our mandate:
- Act as a forum and consultative body for Quebec’s nine English-language school boards.
- Provide policy orientation and strategy recommendations to the Minister of Education and our boards.
- Oversee the development and delivery of adult general education and vocational training curricula and programming.
- Coordinate professional development for all personnel.

Eduspeak - Education-specific vocabulary for VT in Quebec
The Educational Pedagogical Consultants – VT (EPC-VT) designed learning capsules about education vocabulary and concepts in vocational training (VT) for VT teachers and centre personnel. It is administered as blended learning, with asynchronous and synchronous learning pieces, and assessments self- or group-administered.
Ventures and Ventures+
Ventures is a Social Participation program for adults with special needs, servicing students in the Montérégie region. The program is divided into two tiers: the Ventures and Ventures+ programs. In Ventures, the curriculum is designed to develop personal and social autonomy. In Ventures +, the program aims to facilitate the mastery of personal, social, and work skills.
Reserve the date - TNCC 2025
Reserve the morning of February 6, 2025, for the Table nationale de collaboration et de concertation (TNCC) meeting. Open to all involved in vocational training, it covers digital integration, field challenges, and educational innovations. The session will be in French, with English comments and questions welcome.
The TNCC is an opportunity for the RÉCIT VT consultants to invite all those involved in vocational training to get together. Whether you are a teacher, pedagogical consultant, administrator or part of our network, your presence will be greatly appreciated.
