Charbel worked at the Lester B. Pearson School Board where he led a team of eight professionals on varying dossiers such as RAC, corporate training, financial aid, SARCA, language and pre-employment testing and marketing.
On a national level, he presided the Recognition of Acquired Competencies (RAC) English Steering Committee as a Provincial Project Manager at the Ministry of Education, where he supported and trained professionals from the nine school boards and five public CEGEPS on RAC and the promotion of vocational and technical programs.
Early on he worked as an Education Advisor at Heritage College, where he provided expertise on the College’s student success plan and efforts of the Commission d’évaluation de l’enseignement collégial and was Academic Dean and School Director at Centennial College.
Charbel holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in public policy and public Administration, both from Concordia University.
