Vocational Olympiads new cycle

The calendar of the Quebec Olympics is entering a new cycle. On November 3, after consulting the 85 members of the organization, WorldSkills authorities decided to postpone the 46th WorldSkills Competition (Shanghai, China) from October 12 to 17, 2022. Postponement of Vocational Olympiads

In order to counter the spread of the COVID-19 virus, government authorities have decided to ban gatherings and indoor events of more than 250 people at least until mid-April. They also decreed that public places be closed for at least 30 days, a decree that could be protracted. Riverside at the Montérégie Regional Olympiads

ACCESS saw six students participate in three disciplines at the Regional Olympiades that were held across the Monteregie during the first three weeks of February. Health, Assistance and Nursing were held Feb 12th in St-Jean Sur Richelieu. On february 4, 2020, Laurier MacDonald Career Centre kicked off the Vocational Olympiads Regional events schedule for the Ile-de-Montéal region, hosting the Hairdressing competition.
