Paulette has worked in the field of education her entire career; first as an ESL teacher, then working at the MELS in evaluation for the youth sector. Her teaching experience: elementary, high school and cégep, which has given her the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students and teachers.
These enriching experiences led her to dabble in textbook publishing, both in the private and public sectors. She has also been an Educational Consultant at the cégep level in the regular and continuing education sectors. As well as her Bachelor’s in ESL, she has a graduate certificate in college teaching from the University de Sherbrooke (Performa). Before joining the RÉCIT AGE team, she coordinated translation projects in Vocational Training.
She’s interested in finding ways to bridge the gap between pedagogy and technology by using a hands-on approach and listening. She believes in taking small steps and working together for the better good. The well-known expression, ‘It takes a village…..’ is one of her core beliefs.
